Contributing to the sustainable development of society through environmental preservation
FUSO has been dedicating to the waterworks business for more than 70 years since our establishment therefore we understand that considering about water now, means considering about water in the future. We will actively promote local environmental preservation which harmonizes with nature through the "development of water infrastructures," in order to contribute to the sustainable development of a prosperous and health society. Based on "contributions to society" as a corporate activity, we will always pursue the happiness of all people related to our company, in order to conduct social contribution activities with the aim of being a company that is trusted and needed by communities.
Main activities
FUSO'S FOREST
In order to acquire abundant water resources, it is important for forests which generate water to function properly. As a part of the project "water resource forest created by everyone"implemented with the Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau, FUSO endeavored to secure high quality water resources in the upstream area of the Tama River through forest maintenance activities, such as thinning and trimming of the forest protecting the water source.
FUSO TECHNOCENTER
The new company building "FUSO Technocenter" established in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture is designed so that the gymnasium can be opened to local residents for use as a temporary shelter and tsunami evacuation building. Our company is prepared to be a disaster prevention station for the community at the time of a large-scale disaster. We also contribute to the development and revitalization of the local companies, by adopting stone and cedar wood produced in Shikoku.
