Message from the President

FUSO Seeks to Create a World Where Everyone Has Access to Water.

Since our founding in 1946 and under our corporate philosophy of "To Create Harmony with Water," we have made it our business to help local communities develop through stronger water and wastewater systems. We have achieved this by not only producing and selling equipment for these systems, but also by providing services to design, build, maintain, operate, and manage these.

Japan has entered an era of full-fledged population decline, and these vital networks, built to accommodate the population peak, now face a range of issues. As more and more people become concerned with the social impact of crisis events caused by aging infrastructure, the mission that we must fulfill has become even more important. To maintain these essential water services without compromising quality, it is essential that we act to build a sustainable maintenance, renewal, and operation model for water infrastructure in accordance with the characteristics of each community.

In 1980, we moved our head office from Kagawa, where we were founded, to Tokyo, and have since grown our business throughout Japan and overseas thanks to the support of our customers, cultivating our ability to solve their water infrastructure challenges. To better address environmental transformations at home in Japan, we have as of 2026 established a dual head office structure, adding the Shikoku Head Office in our original home of Kagawa to complement our existing Tokyo Head Office. Whereas the Shikoku Head Office will serve as our solution creation base, the Tokyo Head Office will be our alliance strategic base. This new system will enhance our corporate and business management, ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster, and further strengthen our management base.

Even as changes in industrial structures and social values accelerate in ways that do not conform to existing frameworks, we will listen closely to our customers and work to realize sustainable local communities through resilient water and wastewater infrastructure.

Each and every member of the FUSO team will band together to tackle the challenges facing water infrastructure and contribute to local communities. We look forward to your continued fellowship and support as we continue on this journey.

Osamu Kudo, President and Representative Director, FUSO Corporation
