FUSO's Business Domains
FUSO is a general water infrastructure company involved in all aspects of water infrastructure, from the engineering and construction of facilities and pipelines to the manufacture and sale of equipment and materials, as well as O&M (operation and maintenance). The broader FUSO GROUP, as a unified Group, resolves social issues through its business in three major areas: water infrastructure, housing and facilities, and renewable energy.
Water treatment facilities located throughout Japan vary in purpose, purification facilities that supply safe water, purification facilities that return water to nature, and circulation systems and sewage treatment facilities for factories and other industries. These varying purposes also result in varying methods of operation. Since our founding in 1946, we have been involved in numerous water-related treatment facilities in Japan. In recent years, we have further expanded our business domains through the promotion of DX (digital transformation) and GX (green transformation), as well as global expansion. On a more local scale, focusing on where people live their lives, no two communities face the same problems. FUSO will continue to listen sincerely to the voices of the community and contribute to resolving issues.

FUSO Steel Pipe Plant
At the FUSO Steel Pipe Plant in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, we manufacture steel pipes in-house for all kinds of applications and facilities, including water supply, sewage, agricultural and industrial water and water for electric power. We are capable of meeting demand for large-scale plants both in Japan and overseas.

Management of water supply and sewage assets is an extremely important issue due to declining birthrates, declining populations, and fluctuating demand for water. FUSO will develop, maintain, and improve technologies that contribute to the efficient and rational management of water infrastructure.

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, there has been an increasing demand in Japan for the use of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power. We will develop, maintain, and improve technologies to generate and store these renewable energies.
Resilience
Climate change as a result of global warming has already begun. We will develop, maintain, and improve technologies to enhance the resilience of water infrastructure in preventing and mitigating droughts, flash torrential rains, floods, earthquakes, and other disasters.

FUSO VIETNAM Corporation
Our Vietnam base responsible for building relationships with local stakeholders and serving as a center for design with BIM/CIM at its core. This organization will strive to develop BIM/CIM standardized services and solutions utilizing 3D modeling, and provide related technology both internally and externally. It is also working to solve water infrastructure issues in the region of Southeast Asia.
FUSO America Corporation
This organization will maximize its advanced technological capabilities and expertise in water infrastructure and small-scale hydroelectric power generation to solve water issues facing the United States, such as record droughts, water shortages caused by population growth, and aging water and sewage facilities in urban areas.
