FUSO has over seven decades of experience in its trading company function providing water supply and sewage materials and equipment. We handle a wide variety of equipment and materials that are tailored to the various issues and circumstances of each municipality, with a focus on pipelines. Our structure allows us to respond quickly to sudden design changes and changes in site conditions that frequently occur in water supply and sewage construction, as well as to arrange and deliver materials and equipment.

FUSO sells products from more than 700 manufacturers, mainly materials and equipment used in water supply and sewage (pipelines). These include ductile iron pipes, polyvinyl chloride pipes, and polyethylene pipes. In the event of an emergency or disaster, we have a network consisting of 21 branches and sales offices in Japan to ensure prompt delivery of necessary materials and equipment to the site.

FUSO delivers materials and equipment to municipalities, contractors, and distributors throughout Japan in a one-stop service by coordinating 7 domestic branches, 14 sales offices, and 10 distribution warehouses. In order to solve problems in the ever-changing logistics environment, such as soaring transportation costs and driver shortages, we will continue to strengthen our work to build a meticulous logistics network that is well-attuned to construction site needs, with the first priority of delivering necessary materials and equipment to the site when they are needed.

Water utilities in Japan, especially those operating water pipelines, are currently facing various challenges. We are working with local companies to propose solutions tailored to local conditions to address issues such as the increasing number of pipelines that have exceeded their useful life, the decreasing population involved in the industry, and the passing on of technology. Going forward, we will continue our efforts to make further contributions to water infrastructure based on the network and trust we have built with local residents through the sale of equipment and materials.
