Identifying Local Water Issues and Providing a One-stop Service from Design to Construction

FUSO has cultivated its expertise as water professionals, and over the years has provided one-stop services from design to construction for various facilities throughout Japan. We will continue to identify water challenges that differ depending on the local environment and living conditions, and continue to provide solutions that combine technologies.

Extensive Experience and Track Record
Extensive Experience and Track Record

At FUSO, we are committed to solving local issues with the knowledge and field capabilities gained from being a general water infrastructure company for more than 70 years since our founding.

One-stop Solutions
One-stop Solutions

Our management of engineering, procurement, and construction is backed by years of experience. This enables us to provide one-stop EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) services for a variety of facilities.

Nationwide Network
Nationwide Network

Our network of offices enables us not only to capture and address issues in each region but to provide services tailored to and entrenched in each local area.

Active in All Types of Water Infrastructure

Since FUSO's founding in 1946, we have been involved in all kinds of water-related treatment facilities in Japan. To make people's lives richer and more comfortable, we are constantly reexamining water and its environment from multiple perspectives and striving to ensure a strong future for these elements.

Sludge scraper with earthquake-resistant design
Sludge scraper with earthquake-resistant design

・Prevents falling away due to sloshing
・Enables partial replacement of shoes and sprockets
・Eliminates need to install anti-surfacing rails
・Extends service life of sludge scrapers

The number of devices is the same as conventional models and the manpower required for installation is also the same, thanks to the well-designed chain and shoe shaping. Manufacturing conditions and materials conform to the standard specifications of the Japan Sewage Works Agency.

Sludge scraping and ejector type sand collector with earthquake-resistant design
Sludge scraping and ejector type sand collector with earthquake-resistant design

・Reduces power and saves energy by improving sand collection efficiency
・Structure with excellent earthquake resistance and easy maintenance and management

This completely new sand collecting system draws and transfers sand into the inner trough (sand collecting pipe) installed at the bottom of the sedimentation basin by utilizing the pressure difference (ejector effect) generated by the flow of low-pressure sand collecting water from a sand collecting nozzle in the inner trough installed in the outer trough. Sand can be collected even in running water without worrying about sand being shot upwards.

Pump gate system
Pump gate system

・Reduces construction costs and shortens construction period
・Usable for low water level operation
・Improves time-consuming maintenance work

This system can be installed using existing water channels without modification. Since this eliminates the previous need for large-scale civil engineering work, construction costs can be significantly reduced and construction periods shortened.

Stainless steel rectangular water distribution reservoir
Stainless steel rectangular water distribution reservoir

・Excellent earthquake resistance
・Watertight design brings safety and security
・Excellent durability
・Easy cleaning and inspection

Side panels are shaped in a vertical wave pattern to ensure rigidity in the direction of water depth, resulting in a highly earthquake-resistant structure. In addition, austenitic and duplex stainless steels with excellent corrosion resistance are used. This maintenance-free system has an expected service life of more than 50 years.
